Week 3

BigTime has been doing so well I decided that it was time for Dr. Shafer to come out and do some accupuncture and chiropractic work.
Good thing as he had ribs out on each side, his poll was out and his pelvis was locked.
Dr Shafer gave the ok to go ahead and ride that same evening so I warmed him up and boy did he feel better. So much better that when asked to canter for the first time in the arena he took off like a rocket running full speed and crashed through the fence taking out sixteen feet of arena and ended the ride with a huge buck off! Thanks Dr. Shafer!!! Lol!

Just goes to show you no matter how quiet horses may seem in the beginning there's always something to overcome. Sometimes it's something small like a fear of tarps and sometimes it's something big like a fear of cantering!
Though shaken we were fine. Guess we have a little more work to do!
